SYNOPSIS: 
When three friends in their late 70's discover that one of them will lose all her assets due to a bank debt, they realize how close it is for all of them to end their days in a frightening state asylum. Determined to avoid that tragic fate at any cost, they decide to join forces to try to create a new business: a club for the elderly.

THE DIRECTOR:
Mariel García Spooner is the director, producer and co-writer of “Algo Azul”, her feature film debut. After premiering at LALIFF Los Angeles Latino Film Festival and participating in the AFI Film Festival and San Diego Latino Film Festival among other festivals, it was released in commercial theaters in 11 countries in 2021, and was acquired by Warner Media Group for distribution on HBO MAX in the United States and by AMAZON PRIME VIDEO for Latin America and the Netherlands.
